Hi Gsmopen,

First of all, great work. I throughly loved playing around with Gsmopen on freeswitch & a motorola phone that accepts all AT commands. Thanks.

I now have a Nokia 2690, a series 40 phone which connects into my ubuntu on a cable that reads (CA-101). After some searching around, i figured this phone does not support AT Modem Commands.

I was able to use gnokii to connect up to this phone and send & receive SMS. Also, from here: http://wiki.gnokii.org/index.php/Cables I figured it must be possible to use FBUS commands on this phone instead.

I'm trying to send an sms through celliax from the asterisk console but it doesn't seem to recognise any commands at all. The module according to "show modules" command is loaded ok

can we load celliax.so without hardware??just for testing commands..
i've loaded celliax.so with (module load celliax.so) and hasn't given me any error or any debug information.
just after loading has written following lines:
Disconnected from Asterisk server.
Asterisk ending(0);
now i need your help.
does somebody have any idea??

I have done all steps from "Celliax for Asterisk" - no errors on creating chan_celliax.so
Asterisk cli>reload -> no errors

I'm using FreeSwitch (trunk version) and a Mobigater Mini gsmopen.

When trying to call takes a long time gsmopen make the call.

Get the following errors:

I have asterisk 1.6.2.8 and I try to compile celliax but I have the following compile error. The celliax support only the 1.6.0 asterisk series an d that's why it fails or I missed something else?

Is is possible to use the gm862 (http://www.gm862.com/en/products/gsm-gprs.php?p_id=12&p_ac=show&p=4) module with celliax module ?

you have done a great job so far!
I have been succesfully installed and configured celliax channel on Enfora GSM modem, and able to dial in to asterisk 1.4 on ubuntu.

My problem is when I tried an outgoing call from asterisk through celliax channel. It does dial the correct number, but no sound was heard on the phone. Here is a sample of the dialout command, playing a song when destination number pick up the call:
