Celliax and USB 3G voice modem E169 by Huawei + MS Vista + asteriskwin32
hi,
please tell me how to configure USB 3G voice modem E169 with MS Vista asteriskwin32
to let me directly call Asteriskwin32 installed on my laptop (Vista).
Asteriskwin32 comes with configuration files for modem and celliax

As sound input / output in case of a usb 3G voice modem E169 are redirected to a sound card,
please tell me how to start with
as the issue is
celliax.conf file configuration
As asteriskwin32 is run under Cygroot (cygwin)
there is no /dev subdirectory
as modem's virtual serial port is COM26
so should I enter /dev/ttyS25
or /dev/USB25 is supported ?

Hi Darius,
It seen, you have so many great ideas have been done. I've 2 usb modem, but unlucky both of them don't support for voice. So I have not a budget to get another modem. :)
After read your post, I immediately searching about this E169. Yes it can make a call. For me this modem is the first I know for USB GSM modem family with capability to make a call and cheap.
I tried more deeply reading that, where some people in linux grups, sounded success to operate E169 without driver from huawei through AT command.
In windows we need to open GUI from huawei in order to able to make a call.
But I still not understand especialy :
1. How can we control the VOICE side of E169 which tranmited serialy through USB programaticaly.
2. How can we know the LOGIC or SIGNAL that a call has finished accrurately.
I am realy curious and have not yet idea, and many thanks for help me.
